My great group of friends at spinning helped to begin the celebration by setting up my bike with fresh flowers. The class was all songs that I enjoy and had several "birthday anthems" thrown in to remind all of us of my upcoming day. These are such great ladies and fun friends and I so appreciated their effort to make my birthday memorable.

happy late birthday, girl. it looks like life is full and fun, and you still look WAY younger than 40. and yet, 40 seems like such a good place to be in the overall scheme of things. i tend to like myself more the older i get. and you . . . you just make EVERYTHING look so easy. happy birthday, T. love and miss you.
