Our Service Vacation in Mexico

Over the week of March 13-20 we had the opportunity to join a group of students and faculty from Southern Utah University in a service learning trip regularly taken to Guaymas, Mexico.
There were nearly 50 students who gave their spring break to the people of Mexico...Not by going there to party and have fun in the sun but to do service day after day in the community. These students pay for the chance to go and spend a week serving others. Brad and I took our family and joined them.
It so exceeded my expectations. The adventure and experience were those of a lifetime. I have to thank Brad for nudging me out of my comfort zone, and encouraging me that the long car ride with the kids was doable. It turned out great. We all had a great time and hope to return again next year. Below you will see some of our photo journal of our trip.
